How to Use the Classical Bookshop

Searching for a book:

• At the top of the page you will see two tab menus.

• The left hand tab leads to a selection of books recommended by Classical.

• The right hand tab ‘Everything Else’ leads to all our other books grouped into genres like fiction, science or cookery.

• The ‘Search’ box can find your books using the Title, ISBN or Author.

• The ‘Advanced Search’ facility widens your search to include Title, ISBN, Author, Publisher and Keywords and you can search in your charities recommended reads or from any UK or US publication.

To Purchase a Book:

• Once you have found the book for you, click ‘Add To Basket GO’ for the item to be added to your shopping basket

• You can then continue browsing the store and adding further books until you are ready to pay

• When you are ready, click ‘Your Basket’ in the top right hand corner of the page to access your shopping basket.

• Your Shopping Basket details the titles you have chosen and the amount you will be charged.

• Here you can also change the quantity ordered or delete any books you do not wish to order. Click onto ‘Update Order’ to save any changes made. By selecting the country the book is to be sent to will update the cost of postage.

• You can continue shopping or go to checkout by clicking the appropriate tab in the bottom right hand corner of the page.

At the Checkout:

• If you are a new customer you will need register and enter your e-mail address some personal details and chose a password to open an account.

• As a returning customer you will be required to enter your password.

• At the checkout you will need to enter your chosen delivery address, either the address you registered when signing in or an alternative delivery address

• The ‘Order Confirmation’ page details your chosen books, the total cost, billing address and delivery address. If any of the information is incorrect, click ‘Amend Order’ to return to your shopping basket

• When you are happy with your order click ‘Submit Order’

• Here you can choose your payment method of PayPal, Visa, Visa Debit, Master Card, Solo or Visa Electron

• Should you wish to cancel your order and start again, click ‘Empty Basket’ in the bottom left hand corner
